8-WEEK COURSE
Ever saw a MainStage show or a play and thought- “I want to direct something like that!”  Want to one day mount your own “Werewolf” show or a series of sketches you’ve written onto our stage?  Always wanted to direct something, but never had the opportunity or know-how to get it done?
This class series is for you!  We will spend the entire term of Directing 1 breaking down all the pre-production parts of staging your own show.  From all the behind the scenes planning to all the tips and tricks of managing your project, this class will help prepare you to be the director you want to be. 
This class will lead to Directing 2 where we make all your hard work and planning a reality and you may get to put your show up on our stage.
 
Prerequisites: FOR AGES 18+ ONLY. Must have been in cast or crew for a play, film, sketch show, or a MainStage production (i.e. Werewolf, Roco and Blank presents, Love is Timeless, FaLaLaLa-Lamark, etc.) For questions, email educationdirector@okcimprov.com
 
Students under 18 years old may participate in our Teen Improv Classes.
